My children are in school full time now, which provides me with a wonderful opportunity to devote more time to my Community. I care deeply about the future of Sooke and I will work hard to help make Sooke a strong, vibrant and attractive community.  I would like to see positive growth within our town, this will help to create new jobs and much needed improvements, such as sidewalks. I know that Sooke has the potential to become a very attractive community by highlighting and enhancing it's natural beauty.  

I grew up in Sooke, from attending kindergarten / elementary school at Saseenos Elementary and graduating from Edward Milne Community High School.  I want my children to have the same wonderful experiences I had growing up in a small town.  I feel very fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to be very active in my children’s lives. I am currently the Vice President of Ecole Poirer’s Parent Advisory Council and a Director with the Sooke Minor Hockey Association.
